My husband and I had a wonderful three-hour tour of the Doge’s Palace and additional Secret Itineraries tour of the prison areas within the Doge’s Palace. Matteo is knowledgeable and personable. He is full of information about the Palace and also Venetian archaeology, history and art history as well as cultural history. He is good humored and easy to understand. We highly recommend him and this tour. Thank you, Context for another worthwhile experience.
Erika was a brilliant guide. She is very knowledgeable, personable and insightful. We learnt so much from Erika and thoroughly enjoyed our half day tour with her. I would highly recommend Erika as your guide for this tour!
Nadia did a splendid job of engaging our 3 grandchildren by challenging them to find as many sculptures, carvings, or images of lions as they could. They did a splendid job of that and all the while Nadia told us about the settlement, building and politics of Venice. She took us around much of San Marco pointing out the important buildings and monuments and sharing their history and relevant interesting stories. An excellent days outing!
