The walk was very good overall. The only suggestion I would make is that the initial meeting place was a little distant from the first tasting.
Both Eleonora and the restaurant & food were fantastic. Other than the fact that the temperature inside the restaurant was unbearably hot, it was a perfect evening. Next time we are in Rome, we will seek out culinary experiences with both Gina and Eleonora. Gina had said she would ask Eleonora to email us the menu we had that evening, including the names of the wine. That hasn't happened yet - and I would really appreciate receiving it. susihwillis@gmail.com or swillis@lwhcpa.com
We were more than pleased, we were thrilled. I could not recommend this experience enough. The only bad thing was we wanted to do it again! Eleonora was so personable, we all felt as though we had known each other for years. The bakery in the ghetto had the most wonderful heavy fruit bread and I hate fruit cake! Also, the stuffed risotto balls were like nothing I’ve ever eaten. Our tours made other stops all equally delicious and then we ended our tour eating gelato; how can that ever be wrong. We felt so fortunate to have Eleonora as our guide, we couldn't imagine anyone else giving us that kind of experience.
