Eleanora is very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and committed. She was able to provide in-depth responses to our many questions and was extremely good in giving us many Insights about local food, local merchants and local systems. The places we visited were fascinating. We would have welcomed a bit more of an initial overview or framework to help us orient our thinking before we plunged into the specifics of a particular shop. For example, it might be possible to do more to highlight the holiday theme by organizing the tour around preparations for a traditional family feast: here is what you would typically have for breakfast; here are the appetizers and drinks you would have before lunch; these are the vegetables you would probably eat and here is how they would be prepared; these are the desserts that most families would enjoy.

We were lucky to be the only two guests on our tour day. Eleonora was approachable, friendly and very helpful. She clearly has passion for food, which was reflected in her guides around the town. She was always attentive to our needs, and happy to tailor our preferences to adopt to her plans. We love experiencing the new types of food that tourists do not generally have access to. Perhaps one suggestion to add to the excellent program, is in addition to the sampling of many different foods, perhaps to include a full sit-down meal (lunch or dinner) at a restuarant.
