Delicious and informative!
The tour was well-designed and the docent was knowledgeable. However, the other couple was not interested in tasting or learning about food. Their lack of participation made the tour less fun.
Eleanora was a delight--quick, intelligent, fun, and very responsive. She wanted to talk cooking, which was great with us, so we compared recipes and talked food in a wonderfully satisfying way. She showed us treasures we wouldn't have found for ourselves, and we quotes her for the rest of the time we were in Rome. (Please tell her that we went back to the ghetto bakery for pizze hebraica, and the ladies weren't TOO rude.) Eleanora was a treasure.
