Gabriella offers a rich and fascinating picture of Jewish history in Argentina- from those exiled from Spain to more recent events- the bombing of the Jewish Center in 1993 (?) to the transformation of what was the orthodox synagogue to a reformed synagogue. You will also learn a great deal about Argentinian culture in the process. She is a wonderful storyteller, and makes this a very personal and thought provoking experience- how many tour guides impromptu sing with a wonderful busker in the subway!!! Highly recommended! A must!
Gaby was an amazing guide! Even though we just met her, we felt like we were part of her family. She has so much enthusiasm for the food and the city. Everything we ate was delicious. The empanadas were the best we have ever had. She took us to places that we would never have been able to find on our own. She personalized the trip to our level of interest and appetite. Highly recommend this tour. Would do it again if we were back in the back in the city. And we would request Gaby as a guide for any other tour she does.
Gaby was a fantastic guide. We ate until we were stuffed and then ate more! She took us to places we never would have found on our own. We sampled amazing empanadas, sausage, pizza, chocolates, wines, etc. Her knowledge not just of food but of history and architecture was outstanding. And her love of Buenos Aires and her enthusiasm were contagious. Cannot recommend this tour highly enough!
