Irene came to Dublin 45 years ago and fell in love with the city, she loves showing off the sustainable city, heritage, history, architecture, culture & parks, canals & rivers between the Irish Sea & Dublin Mountains.
Irene grew up next to her Grandparent’s 400 acre diary farm in County Cork. Her Grandmother was a wonderful cook, cooked everything from scratch and sourced everything from her farm & locally. This skill was passed down through the generations and ultimately instilled in Irene a passion for food, and more importantly, sustainable food. As a Guide, Irene tends to gravitate towards the history of Irish traditional food. She works part-time at an urban farm in Dublin and part-time guiding guests with great pride around Dublin City, spilling the beans on Ireland’s delicious culinary scene. She looks forward to bringing you around Dublin’s host of dining/culinary experiences, telling stories of Ireland’s best food & drink as you taste. She will showcase the best of local cuisine but also educate & inspire you on Dublin’s sustainable practices.
Irene is an intelligent and enthusiastic guide for Dublin’s guest and visitors, delivering a memorable visitors experience to the highest standards.
Irene was spot on in giving us the highlights of the area around our hotel. When we returned to Dublin we felt confident in planning our adventure based on Irene’s suggestions.
Irene was a wonderful guide and we enjoyed every single stop on the tour!
Irene and the tour were terrific. A very complete perspective of Dublin in a couple of hours. We truly enjoyed it. Thank you.
