Context never disappoints- knowledgeable local guides with true expertise in the subject matter. James is a local painter and sculptor. We learned so much from his tour of the Louvre. It is an overwhelming place. He focused our attention on some of the most important and impactful works in the museum (many of which are not on standard tours).
We all loved the tour. James was very knowledgeable and informative. He gave us some of the insights of an artist that we’ve never thought of! He had a fun little guessing and drawing game with our daughters and my little one beat him . He showed us all the important must see pieces in a short time and guided us to the area we’d like to stay exploring before ending the tour. This is perfect for our kids’ 1st trip to Paris! Highly recommended! He also arrived early too!
We learned a lot. Make time to see the crown jewels.
