The personalized experience with a working artist and his perspectives was second to none. Otherwise the Museum would have been overwhelming and not as meaningful.
James was great. Knowledgable, friendly and an overall great guide. Thought this would be more like our Context Venice tour - private motor boat, more time on the water with a little walking. In retrospect, I went back and re-read the tour description and we did receive what was described. I glanced over it quickly as this was a tour to replace a previously planned tour. This was all due to a scheduling change. When I glanced over it I believe I automatically associated it with my Context Venice experience. Would have liked it much more if it was predominately a boat tour, on the water and in a private or semi private setting. Thought the value of the tour was extremely poor when factoring a $432 cost of the tour + $42 tickets for a boat ride barely used = $472 total cost. Actually felt ripped off. Given the high cost and poor value gave this tour a 2 star. Worst context tour I've taken. Again, the guide was good but the overall experience poor, especially given the poor value.
James was knowledgeable and very pleasant.
